I am late on my Thanksgiving post, but it is never too late. How did YOU spend your Thanksgiving? Did you spend it at all or did you skip it altogether?

Thanksgiving is a tradition my family followed when we first arrived in America but it was an excuse to have a reunion and we Asians love to eat, so Thanksgiving is a great holiday for us. Nevermind all the bad press.

Besides consuming a large amount of food and not skipping the gym the next day, I was working on some articles to release before the next week. If you are interested in reading, you can find it here:

Refreshing My Analytic Knowledge

While I am editing a few articles for publication the rest of the week, I will also refresh my Google Analytics knowledge and Google Keyword Planner. There are a lot of changes that were added to the system and I want to understand everything. What I learned, I will always update on SoulStylezCreation.com, so do not forget to go subscribe to the update if you want to follow along.

That's pretty much all I have to share for now. Thanks for stopping in!

It is after midnight! Time for an update about how productive my day was. After fighting a sickness that could have been devastating, I took every single medication in my cabinet to combat whatever was making its way into my life. Go away cold and flu. There is no room for you.

Since I am feeling better, I am here to write.

Web designing and adding ads

Yes, I was designing my little office and setting up my writing space because HOUSTON, it's about to go down! With this whole COPPA situation on YouTube, I have focused more on writing and less on making videos. I will still make videos but not as often as I want to. I need to dedicate more time to the areas that bring in money for me. My blogs. If I was making money on YouTube, sure. I will be there pushing contents like I am making millions. Unfortunately, the whole new COPPA Act is making it harder for smaller channels to taste YouTube success.

I don't have time to feel sad. I have other things that I can do that is already bringing in the income. Writing! Why bother with anything else when there is never any regulation in writing. I hate regulations. Plus, I was really enjoying myself writing up the contents I created today. After this update, I might go back to complete more articles.

Producing Contents

Producing content has never been an issue for me, but there is a line I draw about topics that hits my email or even requested by others I do not care to get involved in. Just let me write what I love and bring on a clean conversation that will not result in intense hate and violence.

I am still working on a few novels that are publishing soon. It is sad that I am ending this book because I worked very hard on these characters and I know it is time to bring them to life so I can share them with the world. It is a bittersweet moment.

Besides that, I am spending more holiday time getting reacquainted with some good films and writing some more. Until then, thanks for stopping by.

This question was steadily in the back of my mind whenever I was getting ready to put out my post. Is it stronger to have a blog that concentrates on a specific theme or a blog with variety, such as this one?

If you are blogging as a hobby, creating a blog that leans in all particular directions is attractive but if you are hoping to put ads on to your site to get ad revenue, multi-topic can spell failure. I was blogging before the algorithm was a phenomenon. Before the target and the behavioral advertisement was a concern. Now that they have enforced it, I have to play catch up with the time because my return was devastating. That would mean that I am not getting hit as frequent by spectators and readers. By adopting the policies and accepting them, it will make you a sharper business owner.

Yes. If you have a domain and you are hoping to generate capital from it. You are a business owner.

I have detached my niche into different sites. The cost to start is worth it in the long shot and is cheap. Owning a domain is the finest real estate for everybody working online. With my three domains, I paid $36 for one year, and if I post regularly, it will pay off before the year is over. There is a catch to the domains I purchase and here is the reason. Depending on the host I go with, they might regulate how you can become Adsense qualified. If you cannot wait to get paid, read below on your options.

Blogger

Blogger has two choices for you to choose from, and both require your website to be older than six months before they approve it for Adsense revenue. You can sign up for a blog with Blogger for free or you can gain a domain for $12/year. The free blog will have a .blogspot.com in your address while the paid domain will eliminate that. Just look at it as a watermark.

If your site is operating with contents, it will qualify for Adsense and your blog will generate the payment through ad revenue. It is a wonderful lead if you are looking to start your site and your blog, but most affiliate market programs will deny you if you sign up. I have a few programs that will see pass it to support you in earning income before you become qualified with Adsense. I will classify them on the other page at SoulStylezCreation.com.

GoDaddy

I have been using GoDaddy for a while and I prefer their business. I can gain a domain for 99 cents and have the choice to run their free website builder to set up my business or sign up for a Word press system for hosting.

With the Website Builder, there is no comment section, so this tool is excellent if you are planning on producing a landing page that involves a portfolio, contact info, and updates on your industry. This is not an appropriate tool for anybody hoping to blog because you will be muted. There is no community feel to this experience. As for Word press, you can change your theme to what you love, whether it is a business landing page or a blog. You have the option to facilitate comments and establish your community.

Both choices are Adsense qualified, so you can set up your site with Adsense and start collecting ad revenue once you place your first article and plan your site.

More Tips and Tricks

So if you are excited for more tips and tricks on making your work from home experience useful, I have composed all the advice into a different site that will be in the link navigation. I am only separating my niche because I need to generate the ads for the correct content.

Living in my Laptop - Daily blogging, LifeHack (not monetized)
Soul Stylez Creation - Entrepreneur, Tips and Tricks, Work from Home (monetized)
Filmsy Blog - Film and TV show reviews (monetized)

If I am considering a different topic to add to these websites, I will create a fresh domain, but until now, this is the update. Thanks for stopping in!

Well hello, my favorite readers.

I am currently working on some very interesting tips and tricks on boosting your online presence. These things take up a lot of time and research. With my mindset, I find one useful tip, I end up with one hundred more. It's interesting how my brain can absorb so much in so little time and I am trying to break down everything without sounding like a scatterbrain. If you were in my head, you'd be clawing your way out. It's a lot of information to take in.

I am fortunate to be able to deal with stuff like this without getting overwhelmed or become stressed.

What's NEW?

I am glad you ask! I have a friend who wants to dip her hands into the freelance world and get to know what it takes to start from scratch. My advice: It takes an open mind and patience. These are things that she is very equipped with so I have taken the liberty to start her blog for her.

Go check her out or I'll delete your twitter account!

These are some helpful tips that I can give for people who want to take that step into becoming self-sufficient.

1. You need a backup because funding is not the same anymore. With cancel culture on the rise, if you are not transparent and you rely on ad revenue, you should just give up and not go any further. You want to focus on your business and your business alone. Arguing with people on any social media platform is going to do more harm for you than you think. Create a list of backup if you have not done so, such as sponsors or affiliate market groups, and even save up what you have.

2. You need a great amount of social media following. Yeah, we hear it a lot. People don't care for numbers and it feels narcissistic. Well, if you want to start an online business or make an online presence, you will need a large following. Not only will that benefit your traffic and audience rate, but it will also help you get brand deals and be approved by big-name sponsors. This is why it is important.

3. Consistency. If you are a YouTuber, you will understand consistency. If you do not post for one day, your chances of getting recommended continue to drop. If you are a blogger and you do not publish an article every day, you begin to lower your ranking. Every analytics that I have been following is triggered by consistency.

Pretty much that is all the advice that I have for now. I will have more for you later in the week. Don't forget to subscribe to the newsletter for upcoming projects and straight to mail downloads from me. Yes, I won't publish everything. Only my subscribers will get the good stuff.
